Commercial EPC Exeter

We have experience of assessing commercial properties since 2009 and in that time have assessed a huge variety of different commercial buildings. Required when selling or letting a commercial property, to apply for renewable grants, to improve the energy costs or to help meet MEES (minimum energy efficiency standards). Qualified to assess most commercial properties, we offer good value for money and fast turn around times.

Energy Performance Direct will require the building location, size, and the number of rooms or MSq. in order to provide an accurate and competitive quote.

Additional useful information when making an enquiry:

  • Full contact details
  • Address of the property to be assessed
  • Approximate size of the building (m2)
  • What the building is used for. I.e. retail, offices etc.
  • Details on the heating or cooling systems

The survey time will depend upon the size and complexity of the building and the assessor will require access to all parts of the property. The building will be measured and construction types identified including walls, floors, ceiling, doors and windows. Heating, ventilation and lighting services will also have to be identified for each area or zone of the building.

Once this information has been obtained then the assessor will compile the information and log the details into the central registration system and an EPC will be produced along with a recommendation report.

If the client acts upon the recommendations and requires an updated EPC then Energy Performance Direct will be happy to update the existing survey notes and produce the new EPC at a reduced cost. The assessor will need to revisit the property, however, the assessment will focus on any changes made and obtaining evidence of improvements.
